Garage Floor Coatings
Your garage floor takes a beating. Oil stains, tire marks, and heavy foot traffic all degrade bare concrete over time. A professional garage floor coating from Fuller Concrete Coatings doesn't just make your garage look incredible — it protects your investment and makes cleanup effortless.
We serve homeowners throughout Englewood, Venice, Port Charlotte, North Port, and the greater Sarasota area, installing high-performance flake coating systems that are custom-mixed to match your style.
What’s Included in Every Flake Floor?
We grind the entire concrete surface using professional-grade equipment, opening the pores of the concrete to create maximum adhesion for the coating. This step is the most important part of the process — it's what separates a coating that lasts 15+ years from one that peels in two.
1. Diamond GrindingBefore any coating goes down, we fill cracks and level any imperfections in your slab for a smooth, uniform finish.
2. Crack and Imperfection RepairWe apply a high-solids epoxy or polyaspartic base coat formulated for Florida's temperature and humidity conditions.
.
3. Basecoat ApplicationDecorative flakes are broadcast into the wet base coat, giving you color, and texture. You choose the color blend — we have options.
4. Flake BroadcastA UV-stable polyaspartic clear coat seals everything in, providing a glossy, chemical-resistant, easy-to-clean finish that holds up to Florida's intense sun.
5. Clear TopcoatBefore/After

Here’s answers to the questions we hear most often:
-
In most cases you can walk on your new floor after 24 hours and park on it after 48 hours.
-
Most garage floor installations are completed over two days for the best possible result. Day one we diamond grind and prep the entire surface and apply the base coat and flake broadcast. Day two we apply the polyaspartic clear top coat for a flawless finished surface. This two day process gives each layer proper cure time and ensures a longer lasting more durable result. In situations where time is a factor we do offer a same day system during your estimate.
-
We ask that vehicles are moved out before we arrive. For tools, shelving, and other belongings we work with you on a case by case basis — in most situations we can work around items on the walls, any personal items on the floor will need to be removed before we begin working. Just give us a heads up before your appointment and we'll let you know the best approach for your specific space.
-
No — we always remove existing coatings completely through our diamond grinding process before installing a new system. This is non-negotiable for us. Coating over an existing layer compromises adhesion and is one of the main reasons coatings fail and peel prematurely. Every floor we install starts with bare prepared concrete — no shortcuts, no exceptions.

Every garage floor is priced individually based on the specific conditions of your slab, the size of the space, and the coating system selected. Rather than quoting a blanket price per square foot that may not reflect your actual project, we assess each job in person and give you an accurate honest quote based on what your floor actually needs. Factors like existing coating removal, crack repair, and floor condition all affect the final price. The best way to get an accurate number is a free on-site estimate — no pressure, no surprises

A professionally flake system will last 15 to 20 years or more with proper care. The key is in the preparation — our diamond grinding process ensures maximum adhesion so the coating bonds permanently to the concrete rather than peeling or flaking over time.
